Art for Wounded Warriors

In celebration of Veterans Day, the National Museum of the Marine Corps is encouraging young artists to submit an original work of art to its Art for Wounded Warriors program. The program collects children's artwork and distributes it to hospitals and recovery facilities across the country to brighten the stay of our country's wounded Marines.

All young artists are encouraged to submit colorings, drawings, and paintings on a 8 ½² x 11² piece of paper. Artists should also write their name, hometown
and grade level on the back of their pictures. Artwork must be mailed in a flat, rigid enveloped and postmarked by December 10, 2011.
